2022 IMEA STAR Awards Raise the Bar for Industry Excellence
Program Opens for Entries with New Categories Recognizing Greater Impacts in Education, Innovation

(June 15, 2022) – Honoring outstanding investment management firm education and innovation efforts for over 25 years, the Investment Management Education Alliance (IMEA) STAR Awards is now accepting entries for its 2022 program.
This year, 14 STAR Awards categories recognize the most integrated, strategic efforts to reach Advisors, Investors, and other key groups through innovative marketing and communications. New categories align with evolving industry focus areas including engagement, practice management, integrated data/segmentation strategy, and team collaboration & culture.
“With an increased focus on broader integrated strategies compared to previous years, we’re building upon STAR Awards’ legacy of honoring best-in-class efforts,” said Kimber Lintz, Director of the IMEA. “Now, receiving a STAR Award represents a higher level of excellence than ever before.”
Among returning categories is the prestigious Community Investment Award. Regarded as one of the industry’s highest honors, it is presented to one investment management firm for outstanding efforts that positively impact a community or organization. The 2021 Community Investment Award was presented to Thornburg Investment Management for its COVID-19 relief efforts in its home state of New Mexico.
Investment management firms and their partner agencies can submit entries now through Aug. 1. Recipients will be announced this fall at a celebration attended by industry leaders and further recognized in IMEA communications. All participants will receive feedback from judges and have the opportunity to explore all entries to improve future efforts.
