MAJOR INITIATIVES
Executive Council Program
At the heart of the IMEA is its Executive Council Program—six Councils that bring together senior executives from key business disciplines: Distribution, Distribution Intelligence, Internal Sales Desk, Marketing, National Accounts, and Product. These Councils connect leaders from across the investment management ecosystem to collaborate with peers and colleagues in other functional areas to develop strategies that better serve investors and advisors alike.
From product development and innovation, to strengthening engagement across diverse distribution channels, to delivering the resources firms need to educate, communicate and support clients, the IMEA’s Councils ensure all critical areas are represented.
Through private discussion forums and exclusive Roundtables, members connect directly with industry leaders facing similar challenges and opportunities—creating a dynamic network of shared insights and collaboration.
Participation in the Councils extends beyond the designated Council representatives to include other senior executives at member firms, as determined by each company.
Council Meetings and Issue-Focused Summits
The Distribution Intelligence, Distribution, Internal Sales Desk, Marketing, National Accounts and Product Councils each meet annually. In addition, issue-focused Summits are held in response to emerging issues that are shared by numerous Councils. To continue the discussion, virtual roundtables are held year round.
