Industry leaders and experts led in-depth discussions on how diversity, equity and inclusion remain an industry-wide focus at the DE&I Roundtable in Boston on Wednesday, November 1. Conversations focused on what considerations firms should make as they ramp up efforts and continue to evolve their strategies. Presenters from EY, Goldman Sachs, MFS Investment Management, SalesPage and White Marble led sessions including:
- Trends, Challenges & Priorities in DE&I – Representatives from EY shared their perspective on the trends, challenges and priorities in diversity, equity and inclusion within the industry.
- Connecting with Culture – Attendees heard from two different firms, MFS Investment Management and SalesPage, on successful DE&I programs and approaches that engage clients and employees.
- Unlocking the Power of Culture: A Practical Guide to Measuring & Articulating Culture for Impactful Change – White Marble Consulting led the conversation on why some cultures don’t work, how to measure cultural health and how to use data to promote improvements in your culture to create meaningful impacts on issues like DE&I.
- Building & Leading Diverse Teams – Goldman Sachs shared a unique perspective on how leaders can recruit, train and retain a diverse workforce. This session also explored how to provide a collection of emerging ideas on creating a culture of belonging and inclusion as well as potential roadblocks and unconscious biases.
